For Americans. The beds were alright, AC needs some work though on top of this bathroom was a bit outdated. Breakfast is good though!
The plus: Great location. Modern decor. Very comfortable bed. Good breakfast selection. A real bathroom where you can stretch out your legs instead of the standard, cramped, modular type so common in typical Japanese hotels. The minus: 3pm check-in. Not great sound proofing.
We stayed in a premium room on the top floor, which was well worth the higher nightly rate. Room size was double the size of a standard room and came with amazing views of the Osaka skyline. The buffet breakfast was excellent, offering Japanese and western options. Eggs are made to order and there was an abundance of salad and fruit options.
Good service very convenient. Rooms are very clean and newly renovated. Fresh towels daily. The pillows are good quality. Toilets are electronic and high quality. The only downside is the size of the rooms which is to be expected since room is a luxury
Excellent location, right next to Dotonburi! Great, clean rooms with adequate facilities. One reception lady was a bit unfriendly, but the rest of the staff were very helpful! Only negative is that the cleaning staff would set up their trolley right outside our room and could be a bit noisy.
This hotel is at a Super good area, near practically everything like foods, restaurants, electronic shop, sushi, etc... You name it! Staff are friendly and cool, breakfast is not included in the hotel complimentary, but they do offer free coffee or tea. So is a bonus. Elevator are slow so that needs to improve, but quite secure. Room is not big at all, but I think that's the normal issue in Japan, most of the hotel are less then average, compare to the west is lime giant space, but is good enough for sleeping and you luggage storage. Bathe from are small but clean. Overall good hotel. Recommend!
Rooms can feel small for a westerner but they are still big enough to feel like a room. Hotel is situated next to a busy road so do expect noise ifkeeping window open. Shower is a good size but toilet toilet door could be a solid door instead of a blind type door. Very good location for tourist spots.
We stayed at the Red Roof Plus for a number of days while visiting Osaka. The rooms are much larger than other places that we had stayed at quite an affordable price. Front desk staff were not overly friendly, but the staff we interacted with on our floor were really friendly, kind and helpful. I love that when we declined housekeeping, staff would leave a bag of fresh towels in front of our door. There is coin laundry available on one of the floors. We didn't eat here because the breakfast buffet was so expensive. There were many places in the area that served food what is much cheaper. The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a short walk from major transit and the Dotonbori area.
